Rob Patrick plays and teaches guitar, electric bass and double bass. He has always loved just about every style of music. He learned clarinet and piano at an early age which gave him a love for classical music. As he grew up, he enjoyed playing guitar and bass in rock-n-roll dance bands and the jazz standards in club venues. From his love of classical and jazz music, Rob decided to go to music school to study double bass. After completing a degree in music education, an opportunity came open to play in a symphony orchestra. Over the years, while continuing to teach music, Rob has played in countless classical, jazz, rock and country groups. His main focus these days is any instrument that has strings on it – acoustic guitar, classical guitar or electric guitar and electric bass, fretless bass and double bass. They are all favorites!
