NEW!  Multi-track Recording – Entry Level – CVP 709/705

E-Course No. 023   Cost: $39

Learn to record multiple tracks on your Clavinova using two open-score musical examples. Once the tracks are recorded you will learn basic editing such as correcting wrong notes, quantizing, changing volumes, voices and tempos.   NOTE: Must be able to read elementary level music.

New Features on the CVP 709/705

The Clavinova 709 & 705 models have many new features and functions not including a new Piano Room and Audio Styles. In one easy Session we will explore the Piano Room, Demo Button, Shortcut Icons, Assignable Buttons, and Favorites. The Session includes projects or ‘homework’ to help you become proficient at using these new cool features.

There are numerous new and very cool features on the CVP 709/705 Clavinova. This E-Course will address three features that were not covered in the first “New Features” E-Course. These are additional FreePlay Styles, Audio Styles, Style Recommender, Style Selection Search and Drum Tutor. Selecting Voices on the CVP 709/705

Course No. 026   Cost: $18

Your YAMAHA Clavinova features a wide variety of exceptionally realistic instrument Voices, including piano, guitar, strings, brass, wind instruments and much more. These two Sessions cover how to select and combine Main, Layer and Left Voices, and how to adjust Volume, Octave Shift and Split Point for each combination.

Creating Registrations on the CVP 709/705

The Registrations Memory function allows you to save (or ‘register’) virtually all panel settings to a Registration Memory Button, and then instantly recall your custom panel settings by simply pressing a single button. In this Session you will create, save, and edit Registrations as well as Registration Folders.

Song Editing with MIXER – CVP 709/705

Learn how to edit a SONG using the MIXER to change Voices, Volumes and Panning. After edits, SAVE your SONG one of two ways.

The STYLE Feature – Just the Basics! This E-Course is for any CVP Clavinova, as well as YAMAHA portables DGX, PSR and YPG. If you’ve always been curious as to what a “Style” is on your Yamaha instrument and how to use it, this E-Course is for you!   Even though this E-Course won’t intimidate you with numerous details about a STYLE, it will take you through enough of the basics to get you started on yet another fun method for making music on your Yamaha!

Registrations – More Than You Imagined! – CVP 400 or 500 Models

The Registration feature on your Clavinova can involve more than just saving Keyboard Voices.   Learn how to call up different Split Points and Tempos, Left Hold, Style changes, Keyboard volumes and octave shifts, other Pedal functions and more using Registrations. Performances for concerts, programs or worship that require various settings can be enhanced with clever use of Registrations. Teachers, use this feature to ramp up student performances of duets or intricate ensemble parts with two at one Clavinova.   Join us to learn the many faces of Registrations – they could be more than you imagined!

Using Publisher MIDI Song files in the Piano Lesson – for both CVP 609/605 & CVP 400/500 models

If you’re not using the Publisher Orchestrations (MIDI Songs) that accompany the major method books, then you’re missing out! In this E-Course you’ll learn strategies for teaching tempo, counting, hand separation rehearsal and music character or texture, all with the help of Publisher MIDI Song files.
